What is included with one order?
Each order includes two turf panels, each measuring 2 m × 5 m (6.6 ft × 16.4 ft), and double-sided tape for the centre seam. One panel has an upper joining edge; the other has a lower joining edge.
How do the two turf panels join together?
The panels are the same apart from their joining edges. Align the upper joining edge over the lower joining edge, then secure the centre seam with the included double-sided tape for a continuous, aligned surface.
Can I trim the turf to fit my room?
Yes. Every area of both panels can be trimmed. Join and position the panels first, mark your final lines, then cut carefully with a sharp utility knife.
Can I add a hitting mat after the turf is installed?
Yes. Place the mat on the joined turf and try different positions as you hit and swing. Once you find the position that feels most natural, mark its footprint, cut the opening, and inset the mat for a clean finish.
Can I hit directly from the turf?
For repeated full swings, use a purpose-built hitting mat or hitting strip. FlexFit Practice Turf is designed as the surrounding floor surface for a finished practice space.
Do I need foam or a subfloor beneath the turf?
Either approach works. The turf already has cushioned black backing, so extra foam is not required for a standard installation. Add a foam layer or subfloor only if you want to adjust finished height, cushioning, or sound control. Always begin with a clean, level, stable base.
Can I install the turf over concrete or carpet?
Yes, provided the existing surface is dry, clean, flat, and stable. On concrete, use a suitable moisture barrier when your environment requires one. On carpet, make sure a thick or plush pile will not create soft spots beneath the turf or hitting mat.
Is this turf designed for putting?
FlexFit Practice Turf is designed primarily as flooring around a hitting area. For a specific putting speed and a consistent roll, use a purpose-built putting surface.
How do I care for the turf?
Vacuum or brush lightly as needed to remove dust. Periodically check that the centre seam and perimeter edges remain secure, especially in high-traffic areas.
